👋 Hi, I'm Wamide.

Since 2019, I’ve spoken at conferences, companies, and communities - from Google Developer Groups to Women in Tech and Ingressive for Good - delivering honest, energizing talks that leave people feeling seen, inspired, and equipped.

Whether I’m unpacking career transitions, growing with intention, or building conscious careers, I speak from experience - helping professionals gain the clarity and courage to build careers (and lives) they truly love.

I also speak on personal finance, finding purpose, community building, and gender equity - topics I care deeply about and live out daily.

Past Speaking Appearances

Here’s a list of selected talk titles and descriptions from my speaking portfolio. This list is intended to give you a sense of the topics I cover and help you explore potential themes/ideas to guide us in shaping something powerful together.

CAWSTEM Summit: As convener and opening keynote speaker, I set the tone for the summit by sharing my journey of navigating five career pivots. I spotlighted stories of courage, innovation, and the power of community - offering a rallying call for women in STEM to thrive by embracing bold transitions and collective support.

Junior Achievement's LEAD Camp 2024: A keynote for tech-curious teens exploring leadership, empowerment, and community building. I spoke about turning personal clarity into professional purpose - even at the earliest stages of career discovery.

DevOps Days Nairobi 2024: In this main session, I walked professionals through how to craft a standout CV and prep for interviews that land international opportunities. Super tactical, high engagement, and full of mindset shifts.

AfriTEQ's AfterSchool STEM Mentoring: I served as a one-day mentor for students navigating STEM fields, with sessions focused on confidence, curiosity, and building career clarity early. This was less of a talk and more of a guided journey.

Women in Tech Nigeria's Inspiring Inclusion IWD Event: A bold and honest conversation that sparked action in the audience. I joined a diverse panel to discuss gender equity, intersectionality, and the invisible work women do in tech.

GDG Ajah DevFest: A keynote that blends career growth with social impact. I shared how professionals can lead change in their workplaces by starting with internal clarity and outward empathy, knowing that they matter.

Omniverse Summit: Across two panels, I explored the messy middle of tech careers - how people actually grow, pivot, and sometimes leapfrog in unexpected ways. Real stories, no fluff.

Ripped Social Impact: A personal favorite. I spoke on social impact and why career clarity can be a tool for justice. This talk sparked so many DM conversations afterward - always a good sign.

GDG Benin DevFest: This was more about landing roles in tech. I had a keynote sharing insights on building a meaningful career path, staying authentic in the face of trends, and how Propel is equipping African tech professionals to land global roles. Also spoke on a panel alongside Asemota, where we explored how to confidently navigate the fast-moving tech space without being overwhelmed by FOMO.
